Lunar feldspathic breccia
Offered for sale here you will find
complete slices, end cuts and individuals of a truly beautiful new lunar
meteorite discovered in North West Africa. The
total known weight (tkw) of this new lunar material is a very low 184 grams
distributed among 17 stones of various weights discovered by a nomad while
meteorite hunting in the Hamada du Draa region sometime in early to mid
2010.
This material was expertly prepared by Marlin Cilz of the Montana
Meteorite Laboratory and has been highly polished on one side.
The slices were cut to a minimal thickness
(approximately 1.0 to 1.5 mm) in order to provide the maximum amount of
surface area to the collector. The end
cuts are slightly thicker and are highly polished on the cut surface as
well. The end cuts are especially nice as not only do they exhibit the
beauty of the interior of the meteorite but they also display the natural
exterior surface of the stone on the reverse side. This lunar presents a very unique opportunity to collectors in that I have
preserved a total of seven individual lunar stones and am offering them for
sale here. Thus, for one of the
very very few times in collecting history, collectors can add a complete
individual specimen as found of a very rare lunar meteorite to their
collections in an affordable size
range and price!

United States and Canada, please add $8 for Priority
shipping with Delivery Confirmation.
Insurance is additional if requested by the customer at the time of
the order and is recommended.
International orders will be mailed Express Mail International with
insurance. This is the safest and most
assured way of shipping your order safely as the parcel can be tracked. The cost of this
service is approximately $30.00 to $40.00 to include shipping and insurance (required)
and actual charges are dependent upon the country being shipped to.
Actual charges will be determined for your country at the time of the
order and you will be advised of the actual charges prior to making payment.
If you do not wish to use Express Mail International, I can send
your order First Class Mail for $3.50 but I cannot be responsible for lost
of damaged shipments.
